Investigative assistant producer and researcher for Factual TV & Podcasts

In 2022 I started working on TV projects, including investigating for Channel Four documentaries and BBC Newsnight. While I specialise in sex, relationships, and women’s issues, I’m interested in all politics and society related projects and I’m currently looking for my next freelance role in the factual TV space and I’m particularly skilled in investigating, securing difficult access, and safeguarding and supporting sensitive subject matter and case studies. I have a passport and full, clean driving license, self-shooting experience, and my CV is available on request (contact form below)

Bumble’s My Love Is podcast
Senior researcher
April 2023

Working with Attachment London agency, I was a senior researcher on the team producing the My Love Is podcast for dating app Bumble. I supported casting producing by suggesting talent following the client’s vision, pre-interviewed all talent to build storylines and safeguard, and wrote the scripts (including the host’s questions) for three episodes while working with the exec producer and client account manager, and identified natural opportunities for product placement along the way.

Channel Four - UNTOLD
Cheat Detectives: The Loyalty Test
Investigative Assistant Producer / Senior Journalist
Apr 22 - Jul 22

I worked for True Vision for a few months producing Cheat Detectives: The Loyalty Tests for Channel Four’s new documentary branch UNTOLD. This is a documentary about the growing trend of exposing infidelity and testing loyalty (and making content out of it) online. Joining midway through filming, I investigated the trends behind the scenes, spoke about the trend in the documentary, sourced case studies and gained access to tricky sources, and developed story lines for the film. I also appear in the documentary as a sex and relationships expert. Stream on YouTube or 4OD.

BBC Newsnight
Investigator, policing
Sep 22 - Nov 22

In 2022, I spent two months investigating on BBC Newsnight’s policing unit, researching misogyny, racism, mental health and funding in police forces across the UK. This involved securing difficult access, locating hard-to-find sources (such as anonymous arrestees), submitting complex FOI requests and safeguarding interviews with sensitive case studies. Our work included leading investigations into the Chris Kaba shooting and the nation-wide arrests of royal protesters following the death of Queen Elizabeth II. Working with the wider team, I also developed story lines from our findings for the show, which aired each Wednesday.
